William Frome Smallwood (1806 – 1834) was an English artist known for his detailed depictions of architectural scenes. One of his notable works, "A Courtyard between Highly Ornate Tudor Buildings," is part of the Tate collection. This piece showcases his skill in capturing the intricate details of Tudor architecture.
Unfortunately, specific details about his life and other works are limited. His contributions, however, reflect a keen interest in the architectural styles of his time.
NOTE: Robert de Putol became in 1308 the 13th abbot of the Fecamp Abbey. His tomb lies in the abbey.
These were the only paintings he made in Fecamp, Normandy that we found.
