"La Fête du Ventre et de la Gastronomie Normande" (The Festival of the Stomach and Norman Gastronomy), colloquially known as "Fête du Ventre" (Stomach Festival), is an annual food festival held in Rouen, France. This event celebrates the culinary traditions of the Normandy region.
Rouen is the historic capital city of Normandy, and the Fête du Ventre is a significant event in its cultural calendar. The festival typically takes place in the old market square, Place du Vieux Marché, and surrounding streets, which are filled with stalls and vendors. It's a colorful, bustling event, featuring numerous local producers and artisans, and offering a wide range of regional products such as cheese, cider, meat, seafood, pastries, and much more.
